Pie and Cake

I order a cake for my moms birthday. Cake was so dry and the strawberries were literally getting rotten. I’ve order from this cake shop for years because my mom loves the strawberry cake. However, over the years the cake shops makes cakes in advance and leaves them in the fridge for 3-6 days. They will literally sell you old cakes knowing they’ve been sitting in the fridge for a while. I called to complain and they said they couldn’t do anything for me. I will never go back to purchase after years of being a loyal customer. In addition, my sister ordered a cake for her gender reveal a few years ago. The cake was not made on time they asked for 2 hours more even though we asked for it at 1pm. Somehow the cake was ready in 20 minutes. We picked up the cake and the whole cake fell to one side

For every event, I order a cake from Pie and Cake. I have tried a variety of flavors and have never been disappointed. I love them so much, I can’t decide which is my favorite! I have tried Tres Leches, carrot, pineapple and strawberry cakes and they were all tasty as well as beautiful. For my daughters first birthday, they designed a gorgeous unicorn cake. Picture perfect!

Will not be returning! Heard some good things about this place but my experience today was baddd! First I called to order a vanilla cake and the person who answered the phone was rude, and then when I got the cake, it was not even up to Walmart standards .. bread was spongy, taste was nothing to write about and filling was like it was from a can all for $32. I could have had cake, balloons and a nice write up from HEB or any place else. Super disappointed!!! The worst part was the plastic ware they used doesn’t fit or even close so the frosting was all over the tray and the person carrying the left overs!

The tres leches cake was really delicious & the owner's daughter was pleasant and helpful. I also tried a sample of their pumpkin pie & it was scrumptious. I'll be ordering the pumpkin pie(s) from here.

Super yummy, as hey have awesome mostachon. Plenty of delicious desserts. They are closed on Mondays.
