Pinehurst BBQ

DO NOT EAT HERE!! I stopped here on Sunday afternoon and the place was empty. That was my 1st hint. I ordered a triple meat dinner for $24. I ordered the brisket, ribs and chicken. The brisket was way over cooked. Almost to the point of being cardboard and flavorless. It was literally grey in color see the pics. The chicken was overcooked as well but had a good flavor. The ribs were good. I also ordered the fried mushrooms which came out hot and good. Our fries came out hot as well. My friend ordered the 1\2 pound burger which was made fresh and came out fresh made. Overall, for a BBQ joint the BBQ is horrible! The interior of the restaurant is old and dilapidated. The roof appears to be ready to fall in on us. The furniture, tables and everything are dated. For $53 you'd figure you'd get

Picked up a ribeye sandwich meal and some onion rings. Steak sandwich was well seasoned, cooked perfectly tender and finished great. Fries were hot and crispy with just the right amount of salt. Beer-battered onion rings were the perfect addition to the meal. Highly recommend giving it a try if you haven't!

The place is Not attractive at all but that doesn't always mean the food is bad. So I tried it. The food does seem good. But because of the cleanliness it has destroyed the reputation they had with me. Noway I will go back after the biggest roach ever was found in the bottom cup of barbecue sauce. The sick part was we saw what seem like a little black fiber we pulled on it and then freaked out. I still can't get it out of my mind. Pure Disgusting. I have a pic. I have Not been back. Will Not go back. The store needs to be evaluated and inspected. ASAP.

Food was blah. Minimal seasoning. Service was mediocre. Prices were high. Based off the picture on the wall near the cash register I offer $20.00 to buy the place. The picture is a good representation of the staff attitude and poor quality.

I've eaten here before, many years ago. It was so much better. Today I had a bad experience. Ordered two chipped beef sandwiches, I wanted a link but they don't sell it seperate. So I ordered a quarter pound, turns out its sausage. Two sides. Got asked if I wanted sauce on my sandwich and said no I'll take it on the side. So I got charged for a side of sauce because she thought I wanted two sides of sauce. Twenty dollars for this little bit of food. Oh and I only got one small sandwich. The 2 stars are because the food wasn't bad just room temperature.
