The bocce was great! During happy hour, the $3 beers are amazing! The hummus is delish too! The service is very kind. When we had dinner, the waiter seemed disinterested, which I didn't like 🤷 The food is yummy, but overpriced for the portion I'd recommend going during the happy hour!
A Valentine's Day Miracle (No, Really) I took my wife and daughter to PinStripes on Valentine's Day—a date that historically has been the culinary equivalent of a car accident for our family. Over the past few years, we've collected disappointing restaurants like Pokémon cards. Either the food falls spectacularly short of expectations, or the service moves at continental drift speed. Last Valentine's Day at that Greek/Lebanese place near Farragut Square? Let's just say their chicken kabob tasted like it had been waiting longer for love than we had. The restaurant is located in a very popular area of the city, students loaded Georgetown. The place has a bowling alley and Bocci tracks. The food was OK. We had a corporate meeting and hors devoir type of catered dinner.
Food and drinks were good but the prices were a bit steep for the portion sizes. Predominantly the calamari. We got maybe 10 pieces for $18. The flatbread $18 with just chunks of tomato and cheese. My lemon martini was great. Overall the food is good but the prices are a bit high in my opinion.
Came for Sunday brunch for my daughters birthday and it was fabulous. The parking is atrocious, but that’s Georgetown for you! There is a nearby garage with a two minute walk for $23 or another one further down with a 6 minute walk for $12. We set a reservation and were sat expeditiously in this cute corner booth. We came for the all you can eat brunch buffet and it did not disappoint. My favorite were the Green Chilaquiles and the Fondue station with fresh strawberries. They have a great selection of food. The gentleman working the omelet station/chilaquiles station was very pleasant to speak with and kind providing service. He even made me a half portion of chilaquiles because I wanted a little bit more. To my surprise all my children (3 total) were completely free on Sunday since they w
