Tucked away in the heart of Williamsburg, Pita Palace isn't just a spot—it's my absolute favorite neighborhood gem that I crave on the regular. Every time I step through the door, I'm hit with that irresistible aroma of sizzling spices and fresh-baked pita that promises pure bliss. But let's cut to the chase: their chicken shawarma? Hands down, one of the best I've ever had. Juicy, perfectly marinated chicken wrapped in warm, fluffy pita with all the tangy tahini, crisp veggies, and a kick of garlic sauce that keeps me coming back for seconds (and thirds). It's not overly greasy or skimpy—it's generous, flavorful, and hits that sweet spot between comforting and crave-worthy. What truly elevates this place to legendary status, though, is the owner. This guy is an absolute human beam of posi
Tried the chicken shawarma on pita sandwich, kofte kebab sandwich and the grape leaves everything was absolutely delicious. Fresh, flavorful and clearly made with care. You can tell a lot of love goes into the food. Such a great local business, will definitely be back! ❤️
There’s Truly natural, clean, delicious food and very reasonable prices. Especially the chef clearly puts heart into the work and cooks with real passion. This place is worth every single cent I paid. If you love Mediterranean cuisine, it’s definitely a must visit. Love it !
An absolute hidden gem! This is hands down one of the best spots for authentic Palestinian food in the area. You have to try the kufta sandwich; it is unique and unlike any other I’ve had in the city. The vegetarian options are just as clear of a winner, especially the falafel and cauliflower. Highly recommend! also try the arabic tea, you will thank me!
I ordered two platters; chicken and shish kabab with a side of a lamb skewer, extra hummus & grape leaves on the side. First of all, that was $79 even though he didn’t take the order right. The quantity of the meat was nothing even with the extra skewer, they charged $14 for 4 little pieces of meat on the extra skewer. Everything on the plate feels like it’s been drenched in lime. The meat is not seasoned at all. The hummus and the purple cabbage weren’t bad but probably one of the worst spots I’ve ever been to in the last few years. I included a picture of the size of the lamb that they gave my boyfriend.
