Empire Pizza on Broadway is easily one of the top spots in New Haven. I’ve tried a lot of pies in the city, and this one really stands out. The crust comes out nice and crisp with just the right chew, and it’s got that classic New Haven char that makes every slice legit. The sauce is full of flavor and the cheese always hits just right. I ordered delivery last night, I appreciated the store being open and delivery an option with the road conditions but what i got was underwhelming! I placed a 75$ order with a 15$ delivery tip and my food was not good, pizza was overcooked, slightly burnt,wings were under cooked! I specifically asked for extra crispy well done wings what i got was undercooked and not crispy at all and light sauce. The salad was OK but all and all not happy at all with my order. Not as good as they used to be, very disappointing especially spending so much!

The party size pizza has really thin crust. And the extremely thinner parts of the crust were burnt. However, I loved the deep dark red color of the sauce and it was delicious. Not much parking even for pick up. It was really cold inside. However, I'm not giving it a bad rating. I'm just not a fan of the thin crust, if I had known I wouldn't have ordered it. I'll still willing to give another try. 😉

The pizza was good but the wings look fake they're too big no flavor at all you gotta do better guys c'mon now 🤢

All ways have great food & great service I love the food pizza is always on money I'll put them against anyone hamdsl down asweome place if you haven't it you should go try it for sure
