Pizza Mamma

This was my first time trying this place. I ordered online which was easy. I ordered a Detroit style spicy vodka pizza and the mozzarella sticks. The pizza was pretty good, and the mozzarella sticks were good, I my only gripe would be that I think this place is a bit over priced for pizza. $32 for a 8 slice pizza, and $12 for 4 mozzarella sticks. It could be priced better. But it’s 2025, and what isn’t over priced. All in all it’s a solid spot.

We stopped in here about a week ago and were amazed at all the different pizzas being made. This place does serious takeout business, by all appearances. We split a slice of the Detroit style and got 2 of the New York style(or is it Neapolitan??..not sure..) Both were excellent. The Detroit style is probably the best Detroit that I've had, and for that alone, it's worth the trip. The thinner crust pizza was also excellent and their crust is what I think really hits the mark. Their sauce is on the sweeter side, but not too sweet. The place is not big inside(was Spikes Junkyard dogs before) but there is some seating outside, which is where we ate ours. We'll definitely be heading back.

I only have it 4 stars because I've only been once, ill up that once I go back a few times for consistency. I have the Detroit style cheese and pepperoni with Mike's hot honey and scoops of ricotta. Soooo good and filling. And definitely try their truffle fries, delish and addictive.

Amazing Detroit style pizza!!! The Motor City (right) is my favorite! The crispy crust and sweetness of the hot honey is the best combination. They also serve NY and Sicilian styles. Always friendly always fresh!

Love this place. It's in my neighborhood and sometimes you just want a little something. Pizza by the slice is the way to go! My favorite is the one with potato slices in it but I guess they don't make that anymore. Today I tried the Thanksgiving slice; interesting. I have a goal to always try their special of the day. It's good to try to widen your horizons!
