Pizza on the Point

Small little tucked away pizza spot among Breezy Point Stores. Italian food dishes, and pizza that better than your average nyc pizza. Some more interesting vegetable topping along with pepperoni. The eat in seating option is convenient but not a destination.

We ordered online. I forgot to have it delivered. Called them and they said no problem they’d deliver it. It was delivered right on time and the food (linguine w clam sauce, shrimp scampi w potatoes n veggies and rb w carmelized onions) was absolutely delicious. Serving sizes were perfect. I will definitely order from them again (and again, and again…)

Called place multiple times, no answer. Went in person to order 6 guys standing around, having good time joking and laughing. When I asked if phone was out of service, the older guy (oldest out of 6) says that they have no one to answer the phone, that all of them are "cooks " and "not hired to answer the phone calls". Poor customer service, disrespectful. There are plenty of other pizzerias around where people answer the customers calls and have better attitude.

We placed a delivery order at 4:50 on Thursday. The food was delivered, cold, just before 6:30- this after 3 phone calls to inquire about the order. The delivery guy mumbled something about just starting his shift, and that he was at the ballfield, so God knows where our dinner was for 1.5 hours.

Bought 2 slices of their Margarita pizza and a twelve ounce can of soda. For what I spent, the food wasn’t bad. In fact I would say that it was quite good. If I’m in the area again, I’ll definitely return.
