Pizza Pie On The Fly - New Town

Nice little pizza shop right on the main street in New Town. I came in on a Sunday 8/18/24. I was greeted by a very nice gentleman behind the counter. I ordered the Mega Meat pizza since it was my first time here and that is always a good choice. This pizza was absolutely amazing!! It was almost too much to handle 😆 It had more sauce than any pizza I had in a long time, but not too much. It was absolutely loaded with toppings!! It had so much meat and cheese on it and I didn't order extra. It just comes that way, like it should. All on top of a soft yet firm crust. Just right, not too doughy. Also there was very little meat grease on it, which really speaks to the quality of the toppings they use. The cheese they use was also delicious, very fresh and most definitely plentiful. Never judge a book by its cover, that's the best way to describe this entire experience. First, I go in to an establishment that was best described as a half kitchen behind a half wall. Next, I wait, and I wait, and I wait some more. The guy in the kitchen same but didn't acknowledge me in any way. I waited approximately 5 minutes on an online order. Then a guy who I'm 99% sure was the delivery guy comes in, takes care of my very promptly and I go on my way. I open my box and the first thing I'm thanking is "man, they burnt my wings". Boy was I wrong, I'm guessing they cook the wings with the sauce on them, different, but I'm no chef. The wings were 100% delicious, and juicy. Ordered 3 hours before and came looking like this. Emailed them and got one response asking what location. Never responded after that. Sent 2 additional emails still no response. Don't pay before you check out your order with these people!!!!

Pizza is kind of trash. But the sandwiches are ok. I ordered a buffalo chicken salad and got Buffalo flavored chicken nuggets on top of a head of lettuce. Not much to be expected ordering salad from a pizza place but the service was awful. Definitely spend your money elsewhere.

Our first time ordering from pizza pie on the fly, and we were not disappointed! The staff were friendly and even upgraded us to a chefs salad with our order, as well as helpful suggestions as to what we should get. Prompt service, good portions for the price, we will definitely be eating here again in the future!
