Pizza Plus

I drive by this place a ton of times. Kinda forgetting that Pizza Plus is tucked inside a small shopping complex on Missouri Flat Road, south of Highway 50, in Placerville. The pizzas are pretty darn good. The pizzas are oven baked with fresh, quality fixings. Mmm. Simple, classic pizzas done right. The staff are the best. Friendly, helpful. They have a couple of dining areas. The place is kept super clean. No frills. Comfortable. It's locally owned by the same original owner for over 30 years. That's a testament right there.

I got pizza tonight and it was extremely slow, and it was the worst experience I have ever had. Cleary the kids working did not care one bit about quality. My pizza was burnt, topping thrown on unevenly and I asked for THICK crust and got the tiniest crust I have ever seen from them. Clearly, the workers do not possess any skills to make pizza in any way. It was burnt but still not cooked in the middle and the toppings were barely anything! The crust being non existent just showed that they can't even follow simple instructions. All of my friends agree that this place has gone down hill.

We have this small chain back home, but this is the worst pizza we have had from any location. Something is off with the pizza and crust, which is normally stellar. The price is good though and decent beer selections.

As a person who spent 20 years of my life in New York I appreciate good pizza. This place is good pizza! Crispy crust with the right amount of cheese and toppings. My wife and 8 year old son loved it. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Great friendly service (over the phone for order and in person for pickup). The pizza itself was very tasty! We ordered a medium pepperoni with extra sauce and it was some of the best pizza I've ever had!
