Planet Sub

This is a really friendly sub shop that makes their own bread in the restaurant and also slices their own meat on-site as well. The sandwich is made to order and toasted. It is a large sandwich, so ordering the half sub is probably enough. I went on two different days and had turkey one day and roast beef the other visit.

I’m giving this sandwich shop three stars. The sandwich itself? Really good. The bread is delicious, just like everyone says. Fresh, soft on the inside with a nice bite on the outside. The quality of the meat and cheese was solid, and overall the sub tasted great. But here’s the issue: they charge extra for basic toppings. I asked for pickles and onions, and they told me that would be an upcharge per topping. The best part? It was “around 25 cents each.” Around? Is it 20 cents or 30 cents? That kind of vague pricing is frustrating. I completely understand charging extra for premium add-ons like avocado or bacon, that makes sense. But pickles and onions? Those are standard sandwich toppings. When you’re already paying about $9 for a sub, reasonable toppings like that should be complimen

First time going, cashier says its okay if I add turkey and mustard and subtract mayo. I asked if this was okay before ordering. No turkey added, mustard was added (claps), and didn't skip the mayo. 1/3 fail. Won't bother wasting my money here.

Newer owners of this location. We’ve been eating Planet Sub starting in Kansas in late 1990’s. It still tastes the same. Today I had a turkey sub. So delicious. Stop by and get a sandwich, you won’t be disappointed.

I work at a shop nearby. I went in this morning to drop off coupons and the The owner was so nice and showed me their specials. I went back for my lunch and I could not believe how amazing this sandwich was in a day and age where people are cutting quality to optimize profit. This is a place that optimize his customer experience and goes the extra mile to make sure you are satisfied
