Playa Bowls

The place was empty for 1230pm on a Monday. Maybe because it was raining. Service and food was great! I never had any problems with the food at any Playa bowls. It's always consistent! Tons of flavor and crunch! I ordered the Nica bowl this time to try something different. It tasted great! Still, my favorite is the coco power bowl. Parking is a bit of a pain. You are in downtown Summit.

I didnt find the staff friendly at all. I was rushed to place my order and while I waited I was stared at while they whispered. At least they made sure they covered their mouths. Maybe the Morristown location is better. I'll just stick with Jungle Juice.

I am going with the five stars for the following reasons. Extraordinary service Lots of shakes and bowls to choose from. Beautiful decorations. I thought I was getting into a Hollister store. Reasonable prices. Two thumbs 👍 up!

On Sunday I was passing through summit and passed by a playabowl and decided to stop and get myself a bowl. When I came in, the line wasn’t too long and moved along quickly. I got to the register and worker named Mark greeted me warmly and took my order. In just a few minutes Dylan prepared what might be the best bowl I’ve ever had. My go to is the power bowl with a few additions, but the bowl Dylan crafted for me felt like it was made with a warmth, not just rushly made. They were the only ones working and I had such a nice experience I felt compelled to leave a review. Highly recommend this spot!

This is a great location with friendly workers excellent consistent value of all the products. My only gripe is please change out your garbage cans to a style that doesn’t require you physically lift the lid by hand. I mean who wants to have to pick up a garbage can top every time they need to throw out garbage especially when holding a bowl or smoothie in hand. I think of all the peoples hands who have to touch that per day and ugh. Okay too muxh in the cans. Overall great place and service!
