✨My first visit to Playa Bowls - Las Olas was a fantastic experience! The ingredients tasted incredibly fresh, and the menu offered a great variety of delicious, healthy options. While the shop was a bit busy and seating was limited, the vibrant atmosphere and friendly staff made it worthwhile. New customers don’t forget to sign up to receive 15% off your order. FYI: Juices are discontinued at the moment. I ordered the Nutellaco. First experience with a coconut base. Looking forward to returning!
Playa Bowls is easily my go-to acai / healthy bowl spot in the area. There are so many options as far as the bases and toppings go, that you can easily come here every day for a three months and try a different combination each time you come. You can choose between acai, coconut, green, pitaya, banana, and mango bases and then top them with granola (my favorite topping here), banana, pineapple, strawberries, kiwi, nutella, chia seeds, honey, blueberries, etc. etc. My personal favorites are the 8th Ave, Tide Bowl, Green Power, and the Goji Bowl. I have yet to try the smoothies but I will 100% be back here soon to continue to explore the menu. Highly recommend it!
We’ve been to plenty of Playa Bowls up and down the East Coast, but this Las Olas spot had some of the worst service we’ve seen. The bowl was good (solid 4/5), but the service was horrific and gets a 0. Visited Wednesday night—the worker didn’t say hello, took forever to take our order even though we were the only ones there, and just set the bowls on the counter without a word. You could tell she wanted nothing to do with us. Too bad, because Playa Bowls used to be such a good spot. Many other good spots around Ft. Lauderdale area for a good bowl and welcoming customer service. Won’t be returning to this store again.
This is the newest Playa Bowls location located on Las Olas. The atmosphere has a wonderful beachy vibe. The only thing missing is outdoor seating. The staff is amazing. The bowls are vibrant, tasty, and customizable. There are also smoothies and cold brews. Give them a try if you're in the area. The grand opening is this Saturday (January 13th). Be sure to stop by free bowls until 12pm!
Top Açaí spot . I was introduced to Playa about a month ago and now I’m in love. You can tell by my phone that a buy a bowl almost daily. And I’ve met some really nice people. Love, love , love this place
