Playa Bowls

What a treat!!! WOW!!! So many endless options, full of protein, flavor and freshness. The vibe is so cute you feel like you're by the shore, decor does it at this location for sure. Beautifully painted, decorated and staff was super nice. Cant wait to back and try the green Playas.

The employees here are always pleasant and accommodating. The bowls used to be bountiful and overflowing when they first opened, but lately they've been a little light. Further, it's so hard finding a parking spot at this location. It's good nonetheless.

This is like the third time I order from the Hackensack NJ place and they forget my bananas and Nutella, that I pay extra for and it’s watery from when I buy it. What is going on?!? It’s like eating a soup of fruit. This is ridiculous! So disappointing! They need better staff as well. All young kids who are always with an attitude. Customer service SUCKS!!

matthew caplan was my server. i ordered through doordash. a nutella bowl w extra nutella & granola work coconut flakes. the bag had no utensils. no extra granola and no extra nutella and no utensils. i literally wasted my money.

Playa bowls is a great spot overall — the food is good and the staff is generally friendly. However, I do think there’s an important area that could use improvement when it comes to food hygiene practices. I’ve noticed on multiple occasions that cashiers will wear gloves while handling the register or touchscreen and then use those same gloves to prepare food. This is cross-contamination, and gloves should be changed before touching food if they’ve been used on non-food surfaces. On a few occasions I have had to ask cashiers to swap out their gloves after witnessing this, which shouldn’t be something customers have to point out. I think some additional training around proper glove use and cross-contamination prevention would go a long way. The cashier today was great and didn’t put glov
