Playa Bowls

Usually I love playa bowls but this location falls short in more ways than one. For starters there was only one employee in the whole store which is a major safety issue. It gives the impression that the management is too cheap to properly staff their location. The lobby was also not clean which wasn’t the employees fault because they were busy. What should have been a quick smoothie run turned into waiting 30 minutes and my family never wanting to go back since it was their first time trying it. I still enjoy playa bowls but just save yourself the trouble and drive a few miles to the next location.

This location in pompano has the worst customer service ever. The girl working this morning is extremely rude and racist. I come here regularly, but never again with this girl. She should not be working with customers at ANY restaurant. This is unbelievable and unacceptable. I will be letting everyone I know to never come here and I know a lot of people. My place of employment also comes here and orders big orders quite often. Thankfully you're not the only location.

A new Playa Bowls just opened on US 1, right next to Chick-fil-A, and I couldn't be happier! They're serving up the same consistent, fresh flavors and top-notch service that I've come to love. One of the things I really like is the option to mix two bases. I had the Mucho Mango with a blend of mango and coconut, topped with granola, banana, pineapple, coconut flakes, and a drizzle of honey. It was the perfect tropical treat--fresh, flavorful, and super satisfying! My friend went for the oatmeal bowl topped with strawberries, banana, Nutella, and coconut flakes. They were all about the toppings, but the oatmeal itself was a bit on the thick side for their taste. I’m beyond excited that Playa Bowls finally opened a location near me in Pompano Beach! If you’re an açaí lover like me, you already know the hype is real. Their bowls and smoothies never miss, and this visit was no exception! I went for my favorite combo half Nutella açaí and half Nutaya and it was perfection! The balance of sweet, nutty, and fruity flavors made every bite a dream. I also tried the Electric Mermaid bowl, which was so refreshing and vibrant, and paired it with the Strawberry Covered Chocolate smoothie wow, just WOW!
