It’s been a long time since I’ve visited a restaurant where you can truly feel that the food is made with love ❤️🍽️ From the very first bite, you can tell there’s real care, passion, and attention put into every detail. I will recommend to go and enjoy the food

Literally nothing on their menu was actually available, including the cardamom tea I went there for. No soups, sandwiches, etc. Ended up ordering sambusas which were so spicy I couldn't finish mine. Very disappointing experience.

This is a really sweet space! Pleasant Cafe is the correct name for this Google listing but at least as of March 11, 2026 there's a duplicate listing called 1st Cup Cafe. Google should combine those two because many of the recent reviews on the 1st Cup page are really about Pleasant Cafe. Wide menu of coffeeshop drinks (I'm posting a preview picture of the new menu that I was shown when I visited), limited food but they have pastries and bur and beef sambusas, and sometimes soup, and are looking to expand their food offerings to meet lunchtime demand. There is a small outdoor seating area on the porch of the building, with an awning over it -- this will get good use in summer months.
