Plum Tree Gardens B & B

I tried to call and arrange a room for a 3 month lease for my mother who is moving to the area to work at cherry hospital as an RN and to be closer to me and her family. The owner promptly told me she was not interested in allowing a nurse who works at cherry to stay there. This tells me practices discriminatory leasing/rental practices and makes me wonder what other factors she would discriminate against with other prospective tenants. Luckily, she revealed her major red flag to us from the beginning. I would be extremely cautious if you are going to stay here.

Amazing experience, very clan and very personable. The house was beautiful, the accommodations were very comfortable and very close to downtown shops and restaurants.

I was looking for a long weekend away from home but didn't want to drive too far after leaving working on Thursday evening. I found listings for Plum Tree Gardens in Goldsboro. Actually the B&B was completely booked and I stayed in a two room suite, one of two overflow rooms, in the owners' home across the street. I was looking for a peaceful, restful weekend and I found it. The home is one of the older homes in Goldsboro, yet my rooms were updated. I loved the bathroom with the old fixtures (sink and shower/tub) but modern toilet. Towels and washcloths were thick, absorbent and in abundant supply. Very comfortable bed. Each morning the coffee pot was ready for me to turn on when I wanted coffee; a large bowl of fresh fruit and two muffins were waiting in the refrigerator outside o

As was shared by earlier reviewers on TripAdvisor, the Plum Tree Gardens Bed and Breakfast is a charming, comfortable respite from all of the motels (where I stayed before finding this gem) in the area. I am a well-seasoned business and leisure traveler, so I make sure that I do my homework before selecting a place to stay. As a result, I knew about the breakfast and amenity offerings, plus deposit requirements well in advance of my visit. ||For the pleasant (aka non-cranky) traveler, you will find the owners, Joanne and Dreamweaver, very welcoming and accommodating. The rooms are clean and well-appointed, and the environment is extremely relaxing. It was a blessing for me to be in a restored home,...in the lovely city of Goldsboro that I've visited many times over the past 30 years.

My wife and I were moving to the area with my work. We found this little Jewel online. When I called and spoke with Joanne the first time, she was very informative of all the amenities and the continental breakfast, which always consisted of an assortment of freshly prepared fruit, fresh muffins and whipped cream cheese. Oh and of course the fresh coffee and juice.||||We found the rooms to be very clean and spacious. And always smelling so fresh.||||My wife stayed at the B&B during the day while I worked. Joanne and Dreamweaver always made her feel welcome and checked on her throughout the ay as she does not speak a lot of English.||||Joanne did a great deal of research in helping us to locate an apartment in the historic district.
