Pollo Tropical

WOULD GIVE 0 IF I COULD. HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT!!!! So I order the same exact thing for me and my bf every time we eat here. So you would expect every single time it’s the same total. Today I was surprised to find out my order is now almost $10 dollars more than what it usually is. I asked for a receipt upon receiving my food because I was in such shock. After overlooking I realized the manager taking our order, tried to charge me not once but TWICE for an individual order of corn when all I asked for was extra corn on ONE tropichop . I came inside in confusion attempting to correct the situation and showing him that he charged me twice for corn I never received. He claims because I asked for extra corn that he is required to charge me. But he charged me TWICE so when I ask him why he charged

I recently came to this pollo September 9, 2025 at approximately 12:18pm. My order was horrible. I ordered a quesadilla, something so simple. It was the most digusting thing I’ve ever had! The cheese was not cooked at all! Very hard, like it was fresh out the freezer and they microwaved it for 30 seconds. My server was Ana! Employee number 470593. I wouldn’t recommend this pollo at all. They don’t care about the quality they are giving their customers. They don’t deserve any stars. However, I couldn’t leave a review without putting one. -100000/000. I need someone held accountable and I need my refund.

On December 18th at approximately 11:15 after leaving class, I decided to try the Pollo Tropical at this particular location. After giving my order I was advised that they no longer had chicken. Not that they no longer had bone in chicken but just that they no longer had chicken. I then proceeded to ask would there be a discount for not having any chicken at all. The cashier hesitated, and shortly after someone who I’m assuming is supposed to be the manager then got on the intercom. No I was not expecting a discount for there not being any chicken but they way the both of this cashiers handled the situation was very distasteful and definitely not the faces I would want greeting my customers. I strongly suggested retraining or corrective consultation on their customer service experience. Re

Went to this Pollo Tropical on my lunch break for a quick bite. While I was waiting for my food, the manager (I think her name was Ana) asked if I was being attended to. I told her yes and that I was just waiting on my order. What really stood out to me was how attentive and genuine she was. You could tell she actually cared about the customers and wanted to make sure everyone was taken care of. My food came out fresh, hot, and faster than I expected. The restaurant was clean, and the staff seemed organized even during a busy lunch rush.

Customer service is horrible and the young man taking the order sounded like he was tweaking. I don’t understand the hostility to customers. Where that no Customer means you have no job. This establishment has no revenue. Clearly not because Management would do a better job at explaining how this cycle works completely unimpressed. Before their corporate takeover, Pollo was not like this at all.
