The good: the ceviche was really, really good. Nice and fresh. Asked for spicy and it was not really that spicy but the taste was there and it was good. The fried yuca was great as well. Hoemmade chicha morada was good too. These are the only reason it gets 2 stars. The bad: everything else. The pollo a la brasa was DRY. The seasoning was very cumin heavy and tasted like the one from the jar at the grocery store. The aji verde is watery, not a hint of spice. Because it was not spicy, we asked for rocoto. I don't know what they brought us, but it tasted like blended up bell peppers with tabasco added. Tasted awful. My partner asked the server what this was, and she told him rocoto. She pointed to another table amd said they are Peruvian and they are eating it. My partner, who is very, very
I go in for take out. Every time the food is super delicious. I get the whole chicken and sides. I've yet to try other dishes yet. I'm obsessed with the chicken.
Really excellent. Humble place with excellent food. Of course the rotisserie chicken is what they're justifiably famous for, but other Peruvian dishes are terrific too. Beef heart anticuchos are delicious and moist, served with excellent potatoes and corn. Ceviche pescado could not have been fresher. Ají de gallina, my favorite Peruvian dish, is done so beautifully here, with shredded rotisserie chicken in a luscious mild ají amarillo sauce. I like to go here right before the airport, but do leave extra time as they are not fast.
Love the pollo a la brasa (charcoal rotisserie chicken); the flavor is excellent! Also ordered the alfajores.
The place is good the chicken's good I have no complaint about the food but I went to order something a combination plate and I didn't want fries and she didn't want to give me double the yuca she wanted me to pay for yuca it's a easy Exchange I'll never go back it's just the principle of it
