Pomona Valley Mining Co

My hubby and I went her last night for Valentines Day. It was our first time and it was delicious and the view was spectacular! Our waitress Marina was phenomenal! We will definitely be back!

I have not eaten at the Mining Co. since 2017. It was my first time having brunch. There's absolutely NOTHING to brag home about when it comes to the food. Maybe if I were guzzling down bottomless mimosas I would have enjoyed the food. The next time I visit it'll be for dinner.

My family and I had an excellent dinner at Pomona Valley Mining Co. We had passed it for years and always thought that it must have awesome views. First of all, the restaurant is huge and really cool. We were lucky to have a table right next to the window. It is a spectacular view. Each meal comes with unlimited trips to the soup and salad bar and cheesy bread. The bread is great and the salad bar has many options. The soup was ok. We ordered a New York steak, a filet mignon and a ribeye. All three were great. They cook their meat on the pinker side, so if you like it medium well or well done make sure you let them know. First time here and brought the family with. All of us truly enjoyed our night together and would definitely come again. We're aiming to get a window table next time to enjoy that scenery!

It seems like this is a popular local restaurant for big parties and birthday celebrations. Service was good considering we were in a room of 4 big parties. Salad and soup bar is a good idea only when the choices are refilled consistently. Food came quickly and it was delicious. However, I was disgusted with the cold coffee that was served to me. When I asked the waitress if I could have hot coffee, she said that was all it was available. Let me know next time so I won’t waste my money on cold coffee.
