Ponto Lago

Best tasting example of Coastal cuisine. For us, is was the best part of our stay at the Park Hyatt. We had the octopus and mushrooms and both blew us out of the water so we re-arranged our departure to try the buffet breakfast. The mushrooms came with a delicious mole. The complimentary arepas were so delicious: Oaxacan cheese and homemade tomatillo salsa. The octopus came with an olive mix and aioli. This was our first visit and Uri gave us excellent service. You can tell he loves his job. We were celebrating our anniversary and so glad we came here. We ended our experience with the churros and a happy anniversary chocolate berry delight l. Can't wait to return and try more itemsms. The weekend breakfast buffet was ok. I was expecting more seafood.

After a great day of golf, my colleagues and I cleaned up and headed to Ponto Lago at the Park Hyatt Aviara Resort for dinner—and what followed was hands down the most luxurious dining experience I’ve ever had. From the moment we were seated, it was clear that Ponto Lago sets an exceptionally high standard. The atmosphere was elegant yet welcoming, and the food was absolutely outstanding. Thankfully, one of my colleagues is a true “foodie” and guided us through ordering several dishes I had never tried before. Every plate that arrived was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. Our waiter was incredibly kind, professional, and attentive. You could genuinely tell that the staff takes great pride in delivering the highest level of service and ensuring every guest feels well cared for

One of my favorite restaurants in North County to go with my family. The ease of free valet parking with validation from the restaurant sets the tone. The restaurant is spacious, if we need to bring our stroller with our 3 littles. They always have ample space (even when we have a large group) and get us seated quickly even without reservations. The team has always given spectacular friendly service. The food is delicious. My favorite is the octopus and my kids love the Mac and cheese. The freebies are always a plus too, they have yummy arepas to start off the meal.

Delicious! Fantastic service topped off with an incredible meal. Alejandro knows his menu and orchestrated flawless service as our server. Thanh kept our water glasses full and was super friendly. We've enjoyed many meals here and 1 buffet breakfast. We hope to be back again soon.
