We had a wonderful time at this superb historic farm. The site was historically the poor house for the county, and the original structures dating back to the early 1800s are still there, giving the place an added level of historical interest. We stayed in a suite in the main house which consisted of a private upstairs bathroom and bedroom and a ground floor sitting room with an outside door. My sister stayed in the cottage, which was also a sizable two level structure - originally the kitchen for the poor house farm. The second floor has a huge bedroom and a bathroom with a clawfoot tub, while the ground floor has a full kitchen and sitting room.
