Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

We called ahead of time to confirm when the lobby would close and we were told 10pm. Arrived at 9:45pm. The chairs in the dining area were already placed on the tables. My mom, who is 88 years old was with us so it was easier for her to use a table. We took the chairs down with the intention of putting them back as we found them after eating. Once my mom was settled, we went to the counter to place our order. While we were ordering, an employee complained with facial expressions to match to another employee that we had removed the chairs and she needed to clean. Not only was she rude with an obvious attitude she made it a point for us to hear her. My friend responded to her directly, telling her that we called ahead and that she was being rude. Mind you, my friend offered this explanation

Drive through lady had a horrible attitude. Forgot my sauce after asking 4 times for it and being charged for extra sauce. Forgot my drink had to ask for it 2x. Wasn’t busy at all. I was the only car in the drive thru line as well as 3 cars in the parking lot total. Extremely disappointed, then I tried to call to just come back and grab the sauces and nobody answered. This place has honestly gone to shit and corporate needs to make a visit.

Brenda was super helpful and friendly and served us our food promptly AND with a smile. She even let me know about a deal they had that ended up saving me a dollar! Hard to find good employees like her these days, she’s a keeper!

Trying to hold true to a timeline on the road is made a lot easier by Popeyes shrimp baskets. They aren't up to "Nawlins" quality. but the neat roadside burger. The place was bright and airy. I did need a quick primer on how to read the menu. The bill was only $10.80 for both of us.

The service was fast and friendly. My order was taken promptly, and everything came out hot and fresh. The staff made sure I had everything I needed, and the restaurant was clean and well-kept. Whether you’re grabbing a quick lunch or treating yourself to a hearty dinner, Popeyes is definitely worth it. I’ll be back soon!
