Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

I honestly have to say this. When this place opened I hated it. I would never come here. But recently it's been amazing. Food has been good and omg the drive through guy Jeremy has turned this whole place around for me. Every time I come he just seems to know exactly what I want and is so on the ball it makes it such an enjoyable experience!

Happy every time we come to Popeyes in Horseheads! We get through the line fast, the food is always fresh and hot, and the employees are always in a good mood. Jeremy seems to be at the window a lot and he does an exemplary job every time he’s working, it’s a joy to see him!

The employees are always nice, the place is clean and well kept. My issue is the food. I'm not sure if all the chicken is suppose to be spicy, but I ordered original this time and it was spicy. The shrimp portion was ok, but I just feels so... eh. Anything chicken is lackluster for me, not for $20. The past 2 times I've tried this franchise the amount of food to cost was well below value. I upgrade to the absolute delicious Mac and cheese (best fast food mac and cheese!) and recieve a tiny side cup only half filled. Biscuits are good.

Food, I loved it, even day after leftovers, the we're out of shrimp when I tried to order, so they offered to give me anything in is place, I wanted to try the drumsticks, I was extremely pleased.

Well. Zero stars! Got a $40 meal, had to add a side for mac and cheese to please the crowd. Got a regular size, thinking that would be enough. Look at the pic provided. I placed a spork next to it to reference size and HEIGHT of side that I paid $4.49... YES, $4.49 for. This isn't a small I remind you, it's the size regular. Next size is large. This mac and cheese had 2 bites in it. Yes, TWO. No exaggeration at all. I was livid. I made a remark when he gave it to me and he replied "that's what you get". I realize eating out is a luxury these days for most, but to get 2 bites of this, and the top was burnt.... it tasted HORRID. Couldn't even stomach to eat it. My kids refused it too.
