Chicken is always hot and and crispy! Fries are tasty and the mashed potatoes with gravy are... Ok (potatoes are too stiff even with gravy). Overall, it's definitely recommendable! Only thing is, I don't think they sell the shrimp at this location. Everytime I try to order it on the app, it says it's not available 😢 The inside is mostly clean, but they aren't always on top of cleaning off the tables. It's not gross, lol, just noticable when you're choosing a table. I wipe it off with a napkin and have a seat. 👍🏽 They got 4 out of 5 stars only because of the lack of being able to order shrimp. Otherwise, they're busy, but get your order right, and the food is fresh and tastes really good. 💯 Oh! And the biscuits don't choke you out. Hot, buttery, and perfect.

I ordered food and was told to pull to the side after 30 mins and after 9 customers served witch 6 customers served that came after me all got there food the came up to me and asked my name for the 3rd time and told me they just dropped my tenders so I asked for a manager a girl came up and said she was the manager and could not give me a reason why the waited over 30 mins to drop my tenders and why now 7 people that came after me got their food, then they went to get my drink and told me they have no coke only DR. Pepper (so after talking to me 3 times never mentioned they didn't have anything but Dr. Pepper I guess they would have brought me Dr. Pepper if I didn't go to the window) so I then went to cancel my order and put reviews online so I asked for the managers name and they refused

My order was completely wrong and when I got the right order it was cold and not fresh. I was there around 930 at night but I heard them say they were done dropping chicken when they close at 12am. There was a lot of young people working and they need a little more training on customer service. I feel like I wasted my money and didn't eat half of the chicken because it wasn't all the way cooked.

Popeyes used to be so amazing before Katrina, honestly after Katrina it just hasn’t been the same! My husband stopped in to get a box of chicken, it took over 45 minutes for the chicken to be OLD and overcooked. It’s as though they took old chicken and reheated it! I honestly haven’t seen black fried chicken before this incident. They should really look at their standards. I know that we will not be eating Popeyes again anytime in the foreseeable future.

Ordered popcorn shrimp had to wait extra minutes for them to cook it only to get all the way home for there to be a few pieces and fried crumbs my biscuit was dry and stale and the Cole slaws was warm and tasted soggy. What pisses me off is that I should’ve checked my food before I left and got all the way home. And my husband’s chicken wasn’t cooked all the way. Y’all charge more money for less & low quality food. It’s very disappointing cause it’s a predominantly black neighborhood and I this shows that we just don’t about our own.
