Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

Absolutely awful. We went through the drive-thru and ordered a "mixed" box of chicken. We had to wait in their crowded parking lot for our food to be brought out. Most of the cars parked were people waiting like us from the drive thru. After about 20 minutes our food was brought to us. When we got home and opened the box I noticed that there was NOT even ONE piece of white meat. I do not eat dark meat. I called Popeyes and spoke to the manager. He said they were out of white meat and we should have been told this at the window. I told him no one said anything and that would have made a difference because I do not eat dark meat. He said they only had dark meat delivered and he doesn't know why. He didn't apologize or offer something for our inconvenience. Very bad customer service for sure

Ordered two 3 piece tenders. About six people in the inside doing much of nothing but talking. I received my order and drove off. Good chance I checked it just a little down the road. Of course they screwed up my order and I had to turn around and go back. They fixed the order no problems there. The biscuits are horrible somebody must of change the recipe. They are not the traditional biscuits. Very disappointing.

On Sunday March 30, 2025 between 3-3:45 pm, I and my son-in-law placed orders at the Picayune Popeyes location. The staff was chaotically taking orders. They seemed to be confused and were being yelled at by a very rude manager. My son-in-law ordered my daughter an apple pie. Well when she finally bit into the pie it was not apple but STRAWBERRY!! MY DAUGHTER IS HIGHLY ALLERGIC to STRAWBERRYS!!! We were MORTIFIED BY THIS FACT!! She is suffering right now due to this blunder. She is at home today due to this incompetence. The response from the on-duty manager was the they were sorry and bring the receipt back to get another pie. Seriously??? Their is no control at this store and definitely ZERO quality control. We are considering legal ACTION!!!

If you have the time to sit in the drive thru for 45 minutes AFTER you’ve ordered, and then when it’s finally your turn to pay, after you pay, you like to be told to pull around because it’ll be another “4 minutes” for the chicken, then this is your spot! Otherwise, stay far, far away! Young dude with dreads threatened to kick me out for being “rude” (after I waited all this time, pulled around to the front like they asked and STILL waited an additional 10 minutes, not 4 like they said) when all I wanted was my food that I’ve already paid for. Stop giving excuses and bag up the food, being there for almost a hour after being told “4 more minutes on the chicken, 5 more minutes, 15 more minutes” and seeing people walk in AFTER I ordered and leaving BEFORE I received mine….Nope, not uh, not t
