Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

As a Popeye’s fried chicken enthusiast, I’ve visited locations across the U.S., and this random stop ranks among my best experiences. The tables were clean, ice machine full, no overflowing garbage can, the ordering process was smooth, and the food was served quickly. Every piece of chicken, including the breast—which can often be dry—was perfectly cooked and juicy. The breading was delightfully crispy, and the wings were spot-on.

Definitely see a difference from what we heard is new management. We love Popeye’s however previous visits to this location several years ago did not go well. Cautiously gave them another chance today. Glad we did because the service was great and the food much better! So close to giving 5⭐️!! Food was warm not hot but certainly tasted good. Sweet tea was a little weak. Service was excellent!! Thankful for the upgrade as being from SE Texas we have eaten Popeyes for years. Look forward to frequenting this convenient location again.

Bought an 8 piece chicken and 1 side. "Family Meal". The chicken was, maybe leftover from lunch, think it was the size of a pigeon. The coleslaw was 1/4 cup. Total price was $28+. Horrible food. NEVER, EVER GO THERE AGAIN. TOTALLY PATHETIC. CHANGE MY MIND!

Today, the food was awesome. Things have gotten better at the location on Sandhill. You felt welcomed. And did I say the food was awesome. Keep up the good work.

Well I usually go to the one in North Port, then I seen this was closer on my way off the interstate. Well let's just say I should have went to N.P.. I bought the $20 special (9pc,Lg.side, 4 biscuits) I get home to feed the Family, we got 9 PCs. 1 breast, 4 thighs, 3 legs, and 1 wing, 2 little tiny mashed potatoes, and 3 biscuits. Never again everything was over cooked, it was awful. I would never go back there, I will drive the extra 15 min to N.P. this place needs new management. 9 PCs is a whole chicken with 1 extra pc.
