My kids love it here, and their seed growing class was a BIG hit! Check out their calendar!

I would like to commend the entire staff at the Port St John Public Library. Whether they are employees, volunteers, or folks that are doing "community service", they are always pleasant, well informed, and helpful. If the book, or information that you are in search of is not available in their library, they will locate it for you. If the item can be sent to their location, they will be certain that you are notified when it arrives. If they are unable to bring it in they will have it held for you at another location. They care about the people. All good folks!

A couple of structures for the little ones to explore, and colorful rugs kept my granddaughter interested when the books' appeal wore off a bit! The children's section is off to one side from the rest of the library which helped me feel that any noise she made (and she did; she's one!) wouldn't bother anyone. There are many book choices for all ages, and I felt comfortable staying for quite awhile as we chose books to read there and to take home. She chose many books herself (pu

This is a decent, smaller library. They have plenty of materials to check out, and it is always quiet. My first visit after moving here was a delight. A very nice man helped me with getting a library card and volunteered plenty of library use and county information. Sadly, every other time I have been back, I have had the misfortune to encounter the nastiest, grouchy librarian imaginable. Maybe she should just retire if she hates her job so much. There are plenty of other people who would enjoy working in a library.
