Portsmouth IKKO II Japanese Sushi & Steak House

Ikko is a great spot for fresh sushi and a fun hibachi experience right in Portsmouth. The restaurant has a nice, casual atmosphere, clean, modern, and welcoming. The sushi rolls were very fresh and beautifully presented, and the hibachi dinner was both entertaining and delicious. The chefs really make it an experience. Service was friendly and attentive, and even though the restaurant was busy, everything came out in a reasonable time. Prices are fair for the quality and presentation.

IKKO gave me the best birthday dinner I have ever had. This dinner alone will have us coming back for years to come. Service throughout the restaurant was thoughtful and kind. The hostess made the kids balloons and even a birthday crown for me. Our waitress was the best, and she really cared about our table having a good time. I wish I remembered her name, as she deserves a raise! The restaurant is gigantic and has multiple seating options, such as the hibachi tables, the main dining room, and the sushi bar. We ordered plenty of drinks and were impressed with the flavors and decorative garnishes. The menu has plenty of options to suit all tastes. For this trip, we finally got to try a sushi boat.
