I had a great mocktail here. It was a Mardi Gras special. This stop was on our Bienville Bites food tour and we went back the next evening. Great atmosphere. I highly recommend.

I take satisfaction in being someone that people can turn to for recommendations, particularly for the greatest quality food and drinks. For years, Post has been a favorite of mine. One of only two specialty cocktail establishments in downtown Mobile that offers amazing beverages. They are continuously hosting events and updating their seasonal menus to ensure that you get the most entertainment and satisfaction possible. When you enter through the door, their fabulous team members always greet you with a smile and a warm welcome. Post is a must-see for everyone visiting or living in Downtown Mobile!

Service at this location requires attention. After visiting several days in a row during happy hour, we found the experience consistently lacking. The bar staff appears overwhelmed and unhappy, leading to wait times of 30 minutes or more for a single drink. While the floor servers are friendly and professional, their efficiency is limited by the bartender’s current pace and morale.

POST is my favorite spot downtown for so many reasons! First & foremost, the staff are incredible! Everyone is so inviting, friendly, and knowledgeable — always open to offer suggestions when you aren’t sure what you want. Every cocktail is well-made — my favorites are the St. Francis, Double-Crossed, and Here Comes the Sun! It’s even better that their food is tasty too! The 504 POST Toast/pizza? *chef’s kiss* The Veggie Spring Rolls & Blackened Seared Tuna are my favorite shareables! Monday nights, they offer “Paint & Sip” and it’s fun to bring some friends, chill, and enjoy Happy Hour! The atmosphere is always perfect for a night out no matter what day of the week it is!

Usually I have a good experience here but I went Thursday (2/5/26) and when I walked in the bartender just looked at me and kept doing what she was doing no hi hello or anything. And she also had the nerve to look at me twice and say NOTHING. Then she walked over to the other bartender a tall blonde guy and he finally came over he was so dry it’s like he didn’t want to even serve me. Then a chunky dark haired girl who assume is there coworker came in and the first bartender seemed pepped up and happy to walk over and talk to her immediately but I couldn’t get a damn hello?? Their bartenders are lazy and rude I will not be returning.
