Poyoteca Peruvian Chicken

Service was amazing staff was friendly half of chicken was decent but you can tell chicken is not bribed, empanadas were kind of dry the chicken empanada would be my choice if I went back.

Restaurant itself is very clean and has a good amount of seating including booths and tables. The menu includes bowls, tacos, quesadillas, salad, and plates. They have a kids menus with big portions as well. The staff is friendly and helpful! Our food was out within ten minutes. They serve the food in to go containers which was interesting. However, the food itself was flavorful and they have different types of sauces you can use for your chicken (mild and spicy). The location is nice as it’s right near the children’s museum and other areas. Prices for the meals aren’t too bad, but can be expensive depending. We recommend the plantains!

Wow no thanks. I paid 4.50 for a “salad”. The chicken was so salty I couldn’t taste the chicken. Salad below. 🙄

Food is good but we ordered way ahead for a meeting and the photos deceived us, advertising way larger sides for group and family than what we received. When I called they didn’t really care about maintaining the business with a company that had a valid complaint about the tiny sides especially the salad they stuffed into that tub. They were okay with the unhappiness of the customer.

I got a southwest chicken burrito and it was soo good. The plantains were perfect too. Chicha Morada is my new favorite drink period. Employees are kind and patient. The location is a quick walk from the aquarium and affiliated parking garages. Prices are very reasonable, especially for the how filling the burritos are. Will be coming back everytime I'm nearby!
