Pratt Smith House Bed Breakfast

We had a wonderful stay at the Pratt Smith BnB. Everything was thoughtful, comfortable, and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The space was spotless, quiet, and beautifully maintained, with great attention to detail throughout. The breakfast was excellent and a real highlight. It changed every day, was freshly prepared, and absolutely delicious. It added so much to the experience and made each morning feel special. The entire place has a warm, home like atmosphere that makes you feel relaxed and truly welcome. The hosts were exceptionally kind and responsive, making us feel genuinely cared for while also giving us complete privacy. The bed was very comfortable, the amenities were excellent, and everything worked exactly as it should. It was clear that a lot of care went into creating

We were in Utica for a friend's wedding and the Pratt Smith House was a lovely place to return to. The room was cozy and the bed comfortable. The highlight was breakfast in the morning! Delicious! Alan and Anne were gracious hosts. If we ever need to be in Utica again, we will go return!

This B&B is a Victorian home dating back to 1815. Decor celebrates the owner's many collections of dishes (which I love), books, quilts, and holiday decorations featuring cats! The owners are kind and welcoming! Breakfast was delicious: fresh fruit with yogurt followed by broccoli quiche, chicken sausage, and herb crusted bread. This was the perfect stop on our way to Thousand Islands.

The hospitality was warm and friendly. We truly enjoyed our 4 day stay. The breakfasts were wonderful -- fresh fruit and a variety of items served. They took extra care to provide lactose free foods. The room was cozy and we had a very comfortable sleep each night. We look forward to coming back.

A home from 1815, lovingly preserved and overflowing in much-loved ornaments - a real experience and the absolute tonic to the typical sterile hotel. Hosts generous, kind and also sensitive to give guests both privacy and conversation. Memorable and unique stay.
