Premium Parking - P5602 - 98 Front Street

Upon requesting my key to exit this lot the attrndant insisted I pay an additional $10.00 fee becsuse my vehicle was oversized. This can't be true because it's a BMW x-1 which is not over-size. Parking was reserved via app on line and nowhere was it posted or stated there's additional charges f or snything at all. In fact a CT, the garage was full and thry drove my car elsewhere to park it. The attendant told me he is African and deserves to make a living. But then he changed his story, said the garage company charges the extra fee. When I mentioned I'm a Google guide wiith over 2 million hits he said to go ahead and post it on maps. It's not going to hurt his business. These parking garages always have so low ratings because people who had good experiences never post them. Only bad reviews are posted here. I booked through Spothero and I talked to the manager here. Very friendly guy. Didn't find any issue at all. Now the problem is when you pre-book/make a reservation earlier, then there is always no guarantee there will be a spot available. Because third party booking apps don't have the feature to know the current parking status. So, if people just arrive here with their cars without any booking, these guys have to park their cars first. This way if all the spots are filled, the manager cannot find a spot even if you have a reservation.

We have reserved a parking spot at P5602 and once we arrived at the location after midnight the door was locked and nobody at the place to open it up, so we couldn't park there. I called the help line and we were rebooked to another location further away, since nobody could open the parking we booked, but when we arrived at another location P5608, it was once again locked and we could park there either. I once again l called the help line and they couldn't reach anyone to open the parking again and I got a number to building manager, but it went to voicemail, I called the help line again twice and couldn't get a hold of anyone, so in the end we couldn't park in any location and had to find something new at 2am in the morning, even though we paid for the spot at premium parking. Reserved and Paid thru spothero. But they are asking additional. Very bad.
