Prime Donuts

Best Kolaches and Doughnuts in Conroe, Greater Houston, and probably Texas. This was my first time coming - recommended by a coworker and I knew it was going to be amazing when I pulled up and saw a line out the door at 6:45am on a weekday. I got the sausage and cheese kolache and a glazed doughnut and was blown away. As I write this I am considering getting back in my car and going back for seconds. 11/10 times would recommend to anyone with working taste buds.

Best of the non-‘made to order’ donut shops up north. The donuts are great and they have an above average selection of types (especially if unusual and/or candy toppings are your thing). Service is far and away the best up north. Only Yes is even remotely close. They also always toss in freebies which, yes, are actually free (unlike Sunrise). There’s never a long wait at all, but this definitely seems to be the place getting customers on a consistent basis. Not a surprise, since I’m sure other people have tried the same spots I have and came to the same conclusion—that this is the place to get donuts in the morning up north.

Sweet little place to get kolaches and donuts. The owners are very nice and take care of you. They have my favorite Kolache. Made with Country Boy Sausage. Delicious. The Donuts are delicious as well. Get there early. They sell out. Update 7/20/22 Today I stopped in and just like the last time. Everything was delicious and very friendly.

Nestled in a small strip center next to a gas station is Prime Donuts, don't let it's unassuming surroundings fool you. It's a top rated local favorite, I've been here over 10 times now and always leave happy! Get there reasonably early to have access to the full arsenal of yummy fried dough with assorted toppings and stuffings! This last trip I tried their rendition of the Boudin Kolache, it was awesome! I've had other versions all over. some ok, most are pretty bad unfortunately, they can have a myriad of issues, especially the soggy factor. Not Prime Donuts! Theirs was terrific. My wife had an eclair of theirs filled with a cream cheese filling of some sort that was actually really good! The inside is simple and lots of pinks lol. This is a small donut shop but had great service. The two young men working the counter was polite and welcoming. There were a variety of donuts and kolaches choose from.
