Prince Street Café at Hobbs Hole

I arrived in town for my meeting at lunch time, so I decided to grab alittle lunch, I fould this place on Google, it was located at a golf course, very clean, very nice people. Sandwich was good, alittle on the higher priced side but still good.

My wife and I had breakfast here. We both ordered the make yournown omlett. I really liked their fresh ingredients and that they take the time to prepare your food from scratch. Everything tasted great.

If you enjoy cold overdone steak than this is the right place. Ordered steak Oscar medium. Ended up with ice cold steak very very well done, extra double salted 3 asparagus with a yellow/brownish supposed to be bernaise sauce extra double salted, with a topping of triple salted crab on top of the steak. I had 1 small bite of steak "yuck" to all the folks that like extra well cooked steak. And double yuck to the cold. And not like they were busy. Just 2 other tables sitting with 2 people at each table. Mr. Billster asked how was it. Billster what the waitress referred to him as. I politely explained not editable mine nor hers. Stopped in for a late lunch. The restaurant is at the Hobbs Hole golf course. Nice atmosphere with windows around 3 sides looking at golf course. Very clean, and our waitress was friendly and very attentive. Sandwhichs were good. Would prefer dill pickles over sweet. One of the better places to eat in tappahannock.

We hosted a rehearsal dinner at Hobbs Hole the night before my son’s wedding. Everything was perfect- the food was wonderful and Maria was so easy to work with. I would highly recommend Prince St. Cafe at Hobbs Hole!
