Proper Bar

This place was absolutely gorgeous, the food was amazing and our waitress was also incredible! My fiancé took me here for a date night and we had such a great time. We started with the rolls and citrus cured hamachi. The hamachi may have been my favorite dish of the night. It was so light and refreshing. For mains we got the short rib and aged New York strip, neither disappointed! We both also had a few drinks. I would not recommend the Queens Ruin, but i really enjoyed the Marry Mae and Barbetta’s Martini. My fiancé got the Don Salvador and the Islamorada. He liked both but preferred the Islamorada! It came with a pineapple candy which was so fun! We will definitely be back!

My wife and I have been to Proper Bar several times, and it has become one of our favorite places to go. We first visited to celebrate our anniversary, and the experience immediately set the tone for many return visits. We were seated in one of the round booth tables next to the piano, where live jazz music created the perfect atmosphere. We started with several appetizers, including Parker House Rolls, Hamachi Crudo, Crispy Brussels Sprouts, and the Caesar salad, all excellent choices and beautifully prepared. The cocktail program is equally impressive. The bar manager, Devon, offered great recommendations, and each drink was perfectly balanced. My wife loved the Isla Morada, and I had the Mr.Big. I Love Proper Bar! I had dinner here on Saturday October 18th at 6:30 pm. When me and my party arrived we were greeted by Will and the Hostess and it was a very warm and friendly welcoming. The Ambiance is out of this world its definitely gives Miami vibes very grown and sexy. We got seated immediately upon arriving and our waitress Ari took excellent care of us. Ari was very friendly and knowledgeable and gave excellent recommendations for cocktails, appetizers, entrees and desserts. We order the Crispy Brussels Sprouts, Patata Braves, Chicken & Caviar, Citrus Cured Hamachi, Wild Mushroom & Beef Tortellini, Proper Bar Burger & Tiger Prawn. My night started in the back at a private birthday party, and we eventually made our way to dinner, best decision. Even though they were short-staffed, the team worked seamlessly together and communicated well, so nothing felt chaotic or dysfunctional. For dinner, I had the Pesto Campanelle, and it was so effortlessly good I could’ve easily ordered a second portion. Absolutely delicious. The ambiance here is spot-on: perfect lighting, not too loud, and close seating that still feels comfortable. You can actually have a conversation without feeling awkward. A great all-around experience, I’ll definitely be back.
