We attended the Love and Basketball brunch and I guess I am a naive millenial. We paid for the bottomless brunch we had to wait over 10 mins each time near the register to get our plate of pre-made cold food (table service was not included and they didn't have a buffet set up) This place had high reviews with an emphasis on their cuisine we did not get to taste any of that. Instead we got cold generic breakfast items. I was expecting music from the Love and Basketball movie soundtrack genre instead they played unromantic music from artists such as sexy red. 3 of us understood the theme assignment by wearing our movie memorabilia it's sad that the DJ didn't.
I Visited last sat for the soft laugh and this is hands down the best food you can get in downtown. So many great choices to choose from, I was such a big back I order from the IrieVibes menu and I got the curry chicken with the Mac and the cabbage, and it was fire. The perfect amount of spice to curry ration, and just overall very flavorful. I also tried the Playground fries and they came fully loaded with all of my faves, chicken, bacon, buffalo sauce, and ranch. I could not finish either plate but I took them home and warmed later and it was still bussin. I def. will be back!!
I came for brunch and had an amazing experience. The food and drinks were beautifully prepared and exceptionally flavorful. The service was attentive, and the atmosphere was stylish, vibrant, and full of great energy. I come at least once a month and Prospect Park never disappoints.
Unfortunately, we had one of the worst bottle service experiences at this Halloween event. As someone from Vegas who doesn’t mind paying for a real VIP experience, the $600+ bottle service here felt like a complete waste. We were given the bare minimum—just enough cups, no napkins, no straws—and had to repeatedly ask for basic items. Our server rarely checked on us unless we flagged her down, and we ended up bussing our own table and walking to the bar just to get cups and ice. Our ice bucket turned into a bucket of water, and the “replacement” bucket was tiny and had nowhere to go because nothing was ever cleared, I carried the ice bucket back to the bar. Security was also nowhere to be found. A group kept trying to sit in our section and became extremely aggressive when we asked them t
The best brunch spot in DTLA.I take the train here and get off at 7th and metro. The all you can eat and drink for one price is so good and very affordable compared to the other spots in the area. The manager is very nice and makes sure you are taken care of!
