Had a really fun Drag Brunch at Butch’s! The entertainment was obviously joyous, and the food was pretty good overall! We each had coffees and a cocktail, their bloodies are very good. We split the griddled banana bread (okay to be honest), and then one of us had the chicken biscuit and one of us the hangover bowl. The chicken biscuit for high remarks, particularly the level of heat in the hot honey. The biscuit was slightly over baked for this southern boy. The hangover bowl was good but not what I was expecting. I would have preferred to have been able to see the various things in the bowl but instead could only see the short rib gravy which made it look like a bowl of brown (not the most appetizing color). As I said, it did taste good. The service at The Crown remains great, an
We went to Butchs for Drag Brunch and it was an incredible experience! the food was delicious, the performances were fun, and the service was great. We were celebrating our anniversary and they did a great job celebrating that!! the grilled banana bread was to die for! I got the biscuits and gravy with a poached egg and a side of bacon. my girlfriend got the hangover bowl. Definitely would come back!!
Drag brunch here was a fun experience overall. The queens were talented and entertaining, but the way the restaurant is arranged makes it tough to get a view of the performances except when they're near your table. The brunch menu is pretty limited and doesn't have a lot of typical brunch options, but we were happy with what we got! The brussels sprouts were a favorite, and the yogurt and granola was great. The only items I wouldn't recommend are the coffee drinks – you can get much better tasting coffee at one of the local coffee shops on Commercial St. The service was friendly but kinda rough, probably understaffed. We weren't allowed to order for a while after we sat down because of the chaos of the kitchen, plus the espresso machine was broken. That said, they did what they could to ma
Honestly the best deviled eggs we’ve ever had. The raw bar was amazing and the oysters stood out. We were outside and the bar menu and drinks were phenomenal. Great vibes and service. Had such a nice time that we almost missed the ferry. Can’t wait to go back
Excellent meal! Loved the homemade crackers and the artichoke and the chicken sandwich was bombbbbb! Great atomisphere and service! Also also we got tater tots for the kids and everyone ate them…. The deserts were the ultimate highlight tho - WOW!
