The SHOW ME State SHOWS ME a surprise once again! If someone had told me that there was an authentic dhaba in the parking lot off of County Rd 211 in Kingdom City, MO (population 135), i would have never believed it. Truly substantiation of the claim that - regardless of your heritage - we're more similar than we are different. And there's nothing that connects us more than great food (huge Huge HUGE portions at this place, incidentally). A must stop if one ever finds themselves in Callaway County, Missouri.
Perfect I-70 road-trip stop near Columbia, MO. This is a real Punjabi dhaba style food truck, just like the roadside eateries in Punjab Something you rarely find in the US where highway food is usually burgers and sandwiches. Authentic flavors! The stuffed parathas are a must-try, fresh and straight from the oven. Paneer Makhani, Kadhai Paneer, and channa masala were all very authentic Punjabi style and excellent. Open year round with seating under a heated tent, next to a Phillips 66 gas station. It’s a very unique, authentic, must try. Love it
We stopped on our way to Denver, CO. Food was very authentic and tasty I ever had. If anyone go through I 70 it’s located in exit 148. You must try paneer tikka masala and paneer bhurji. Everything else is good as well but it’s a must stop for delicious cozy food place.
We came for lunch and tried a little bit of everything. We loved everything! Especially the Chicken Saag andIndian coffee. They really stood out to me. Plus I could have eaten my weight with the mixed Naan, just holy cow it's my favorite! Very happy with our experience and we will be back.
I am still learning about Indian food and the different dishes. The temperature is the food exceptional. It’s a food truck but they have set up a nice area to sit. The young man at the cash register so very nice. The food was so fresh. The man also gave me a a cup of Indian coffee that was delicious. I will def be visiting again.
