P'unk Burger

Bacon was amazing Tator tots were amazing Pickles were nice and spicy Jalapeño cheddar burger had no jalapeño and burger patties had no flavor Dubai shake was really just a pistachio shake-not worth the up charge. Will not go back because their easy tip calculator is misleading and their 20% tip is actually around 26% and the 15% line was actually the 20% amount. Should have checked and done the math myself! I tipped $13 and received no offer of a refund other than ask the server back for the overpayment. Not the servers fault!

Came for east passyunk restaurant week for lunch. We actually had a reservation at a different restaurant but they refused to honor the restaurant week special so we left and came here. Huge juicy Lucy, tater tots and a shake for $20 is an amazing deal. Server was attentive and helpful. Definitely coming back for their regular menu!

Great burger shop with lots of vegan options. My sister had an Impossible beef burger with onion rings on top. I have a vegan, hand-pattied veggie burger and I topped it with cheese and caramelized onions. They had milkshakes, even vegan shakes with your choice of milk. The soda fountain offered Maine Root organic sodas. Everything was delicious. Service was great.

South Philly does it again with the Punk Burger. This place is absolutely fantastic. I have not been to a burger joint this good in a long time. We had a Juicy Philly smothered with portobello mushrooms, and the burger was so thick. It was stuffed with cheddar cheese. The cheese was oozing out of the burger. The Smashburger was so good we ordered 2 more to go. This thing was cooked perfectly, and The Onion rings. I have not had onion rings like this in a very long time. They were done just like they used to be done. I will definitely be coming back.

For me, it’s always hard to judge a place that does vegan options. I try to be fair and true, and my intentions are certainly never to hurt a business so I have to approach this with an open mind as I hope my readers do. Punk burger is in a very neat place in a nice little business section in South Philadelphia. I was greeted when By a nice young lady name Jada when you first walked in This is a very family, friendly atmosphere. Currently cash only there is an ATM on site with $1.99 fee so bring cash to avoid this . Jada was extremely helpful and seemed to be a one person show. Taking care of the register, taking my order, serving our food doing just about everything reminds me when I was younger. I decided to order three meals. Each sandwich has the same potato bun. After some research.
