Went last Wednesday for a last minute birthday cake. They had many choices, the girl behind the counter was pleasant & helpful. I also bought an empanada & a cheesy bread roll. Everything I bought was fresh. Everyone enjoyed the Chocolate birthday cake. This is the first time I'm buying from them. Someone recommended them to me. I would definitely shop there again. Gracias.
I was excited to try Punto Rojo while on vacation because I love Colombian breakfast and had heard good things. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. From the moment we sat down, the staff treated us poorly — we received rude looks and dismissive attitudes. We had multiple servers who seemed confused about our table and the bill, and it felt like we were being questioned as if we weren’t going to pay, which was insulting. After paying, I ordered a cholado to go. I was clearly waiting for it with my receipt in hand, yet when I walked out, the owner stopped me in a rude and confrontational way demanding to see the receipt, as if I was trying to steal. I showed the receipt, but by then the experience was already ruined. On top of the service issues, the restaurant did n
The owner was nice. I had arepas for the first time. For the experience I had , it was pretty nice. It was tasty and had a nice mozzarella center. The empanadas could be better. It was edible though. It had nice savory taste. It was little under dry and I wish they had some more vegetables with the chicken filling.
We had take out, but would opt to dine in next time so the food would be hot off the plate. We had their signature bandera paisa and we ordered with steak. The chicharron was crunchy and was fantastic even after getting home nearly 30 minutes later. We ordered a few dessert cakes as well.
Got my first birthday cake there and loved it. It was soooo good. The staff were super friendly and worked hard to bridge the language barrier. I really enjoyed my cake and experience and will most likely get my wedding cake there as well.
