Pupuseria Maria

Super friendly staff and huge portions for the price! I ordered 5 pupusas (chicharrón with cheese, chicken and cheese, and cheese), and they were overflowing with cheese — amazing. I also got a plantain boat with ground beef, cheese, cabbage, and sour cream, plus two passion fruit drinks. It was about $40 before tax, which is a great deal for how much food you get. The food did take a little while, but you can tell everything is made fresh, so it’s definitely worth the wait!

I love this place so much that if I could send this photo to the private I would do it, things happen just be more careful when preparing or packing the food

My wife and i came here trying mostly all the pupusas here in the jacksonville area yesterday we went to one called pupuseria pinedas that in my opinion does not deserve that high of a review the pususas had way to much oil and the pollo con queso ones was mostly all queso(chesse) no pollo(chicken) in them so we tried this place today and WOW they blew our expectations out of the water i had the revueltas and my wife had the pollo con queso and they where amazing the flavor the ratio everything was just amazing if you are in the area i would come here every time and even if you are not in the area the drive will be worth it belive me i will keep coming back to try different things they sell because this is now going to be on of my wifes and i go to places

Never had such a bad experience at a restaurant before. I understand if they were busy but they weren't. We were the second party in restaurant and 6 other parties after us had either ordered to-go or in-store and got their food before us. So I waited about close to an hour and a half for the food to finally come out. Hoping the food would at least taste good for the bad service and how expensive it was I went home and tried it out. Definitely the worst papusas I've ever had.

Excellent service! I was visiting from Washington state and asked for a recommendation for what to order. Got the pupusas and stuffed platanos, yellow cherry drink. 😋
