Customer Reviews
Great little spot to get some authentic cuisine. The menu has many tasty options, I had the mixed plate with steak, chicken, and shrimp. It came with a side of rice and beans. Very tasty. I also recommend trying the pupusa’s, they’re also very good. Food comes fast, and it’s a busy spot. So you know the food is good. I definitely recommend and will be back.
I visited Pupuseria Salvadoreña Las Veronicas with my sister and her 5-year-old son, and unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. From the moment we walked in, we felt uncomfortable. Everyone turned and stared at us, and as the only Black customers in the restaurant, it truly felt like we didn’t belong. It set a negative tone for the entire visit. The customer service was just as poor. No one greeted us warmly, checked on us during the meal, or came by to see if we needed anything. We even had to get up and go to the counter just to get our receipt. As for the food, my fried fish meal with rice, beans, and a small salad slong with my nephew's nuggets and fies were the only thing that was actually good. Unfortunately, my sister wasn’t as lucky, her chicken breast and shrimp was
The interior was quite esthetically pleasing however the food and service weren't that memorable or great. It also made us feel estranged that everyone turned around and looked as us and some people laughed when we walked in after being silent..... as well as some people giggling when we went to be seated and couldnt understand our server. (We were given someone who could) The food was extremely unflavored and just basic. Wasn't memorable or a meal I would go out of my way to eat. The staffing appeared to be strictly Spanish speaking.. which, i had no issue with if our one server was slightly more inviting and explained the menu to us since it was mostly names without images or really explained in English. I'm not sure if they didnt flavor it because we are white or if they just didnt do
We went eat there with coworkers. We ordered popusas and some else ordered tacos. We all loved the food. It has very good taste. The portions are good. The popusas are like the mexican gorditas but these are closed. The prices are very reasonable. I tried for first time the maracuya, and really liked it. The waiter was very friendly.
Visiting from out state, son said we need to try it. Was fantastic. The pupusa and the Pechuga asada were wonderful
