Pupuseria Santa Elena y Mas

I’ve seen this food truck almost daily and today I finally tried it out. I called and placed an order ahead. When I arrived my food was ready, the young guy was very polite, great customer service. Let me tell yall 10/10! I ordered pupusas de queso, frijol con queso and revuelta. They came with curtido, salsa picante y salsa de tomate. Everything was DELICIOUS!! Maybe the best pupusas I’ve ever had. It’s a great spot. I will definitely be back.

The food is beyond delicious and the lady was very nice. I would definitely recommend everyone to try this place at least once. If we are in the Austin area again we will be coming back.

Omg these were so good! I’m so glad that the pupusas were not greasy at all. They were so delicious. I ate 2 revueltas. They don’t sell drinks here so you gotta purchase them next door at the convenience store. Park inside the gated lot.

As a Salvadoran that spent most of her life eating pupusas in El Salvador, I can confidently say that these are THE BEST pupusas in Austin. The revueltas are always a good go to but honestly try them all and find what your favorite flavor is. Unlike most other places in Austin I’ve been to where pupusas are $3.50+ each, this place is holding the fort down at $3.00/each for honestly, a generously sized pupusa. Please visit this small family owned place and support them with their business. They are a sweet, and their service is great! I actually have sent my non-Spanish speaking husband to get some pupusas and they were able to provide him with amazing service! So if you don’t speak Spanish, don’t fret! A absolute gem in the neighborhood!
