Pupuseria y Restaurante Platano

This is a very good restaurant! The food tasted like it was good quality and the service was great. The only thing I would say is I feel the prices are too high. I paid $32 for a grilled chicken plate with fried yucca and casamiento (rice and black beans mixed). I do feel the food tastes so good, that it is definitely worth it!

Food was amazing! Pupusas are delicious and made to order, curtido is good! Good selection on menu, casamiento was delicious as well! Authentic homey feel and atmosphere, quick and friendly service

This place is by far one of the best, I traveled from Brentwood to Tracy to try their food again and they never disappoint, the attention of their staff, the music, the cleanliness throughout, and above all the food is very good, reasonable prices and an extensive menu, including several options for children, my children and I loved it! Anthony attention is unmatched.

Food and service was really good! I saw the previous reviews about bad service but had no. issue at all. The lunch special was such a great deal for only $14.99. I got 2 pupusas (chicharrones & revueltos con frijoles) and side tropical salad combo. The portions are huge! I also tried the fried yucca and chicharrones, which was really tasty. The pork was crispy on the outside, juicy and tender on the inside. The refried beans were delicious too. Next time I will try the seafood soup!

I've have TWICE the same experience: Bad service for pricey more or less food. People have bad mood in the mornings? I like to do good reviews, so people on both ends can benefit. Usually i pass on bad service, but this time it's a no. They need to know service is the essential part of success.
