Purple Bagel

I’m a sucker for a good bacon, egg, and cheese and when I saw Purple Bagel had one on the menu, I didn’t walk… I ran. I was having coffee right across the street and knew I needed food after, so this was perfect timing. Chrys was absolutely excellent. They just had their grand opening on Monday, and the space is beautiful painted murals throughout, plus a whole seating area behind the counter that you don’t notice at first, also filled with murals. Bonus: their sister restaurant, Tula Bistro, is literally right next door. I ordered the bacon, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel, and the first thing I asked was if the eggs were freshly scrambled (I’m very serious about good eggs). Through all the positive recent reviews I was excited to try this place out, don't see how these other reviews could be legitimate. I ordered and ehh and cheese bagel and upon coming back home this is what I opened. Looks nothing like the breakfast bagel posted here three days ago and felt like I got Fyre fest'd. Threw this in the trash. Will not be returning.

Headed to the work this morning and literally turned around because the spot caught my eye!! Chrys was more than knowledgeable about the menu, helped me walk through what to order and the food came out fresh and delicious! If you are like me and work in the main street/downtown area please stop by and give them a try!!! You will not be disappointed!! The place was cute and clean and you immediately felt welcomed when you came in! Come support this new local business!!!

Not only was the staff beyond friendly and helpful, the bagels were fresh, warm & delicious! Me & my BF tried the plain shmear (regular cream cheese) and the strawberry shmear (strawberry cream cheese) both were absolutely mouthwatering but the strawberry shmear was super creamy and extra good. Im unsure if they're made in shop, but I would assume so because it's honestly the best cream cheese I've ever had. Definitely coming back, and highly recommend!

The staff was friendly and helpful. Great atmosphere with fresh food. I’ll definitely be back again.
