Putnam Market

I go here often for lunch but past few times I have not been impressed. The cafe staff is amazing, same with the coffee. However this is the 3rd time I have come and the food is pretty bad. The lettuce in my salad was black, and the bacon didn’t seem cooked…

Loved the selection of Specialty items like condiments, candies, pastries, drinks and ready made dishes. I Bought some swedish gummy candies and my husband bought new speciality beer that he was excited to find. I wanted to try some pastries and coffee drinks, but was full from lunch at the merc.

Went here for the first time. Cute place, lots to choose from. Decided to get a soup and a sandwich. The bread was hard and stale the bacon had been sitting out for a bit was cold a floppy and gross the overall sandwich was just gross. The soup with it was tomato, it tasted like I was drinking chunky marinara sauce. No flavor, could not even tatse the parm in it. Overall the shop is cute, lots to choose from but as far as sandwich and soup, it just wasn't it, im sorry.

I often think of the Chicken salad on the baguette not too many places you go offer a sandwich on one! It was delicious all the different salad options (The pesto tortellini) Was my favorite!! Will definitely be back in the future
