Quarter Circle at Flathead Lake Lodge

As someone who has lived by the ocean most of her life, I have tried crab cakes in Montana everywhere they were on the menu. I am so excited to finally say a chef has made them to perfection!!!! Today I had the privilege of having the crab cake eggs Benedict and they were perfect! The flavor, the texture etc, hands down the best crab cake in Montana! And the hollandaise sauce was made from scratch and fresh, paired with the breakfast potatoes, was delicious. Thank you to the owners and staff for a wonderful culinary brunch. The atmosphere and oversized fireplace was exactly what was needed on a cold winters day. I cannot wait to be back for dinner.

Quarter Circle Restaurant is exactly what you hope to find in Montana — outstanding food, genuinely exceptional service, and an atmosphere that feels warm, authentic, and timeless. Everthing from time we walked in the door until we walked out was top shelf. The chicken breast was best we ever had, was skeptical of the deep fried deviled eggs but were very impressed with them. Would have liked to see bread toasted on the Crostini w/ goat cheese but was still very good. Mid rare steak was perfect, and Salmon was excellent. Sabyone was best ever.... Little blond hair server gal ( I am terrible with names) was on her game tonight and did great job.

Came for brunch. Food was below average quality. It appears they use processed frozen potatoes from a bag. Not something I expected to find at a restaurant like this. Food was luke warm and the chicken was cold inside.

The Flathead Lake Lodge is a premier destination and I set my expectations to match. In the end, the experience was all sizzle no steak. The hostess offered a warm welcome and transitioned us with ease from the bar to our reserved table. The remaining service simply did not align with the price point. Bulky dinner menus were left at our small table for the duration of the meal, water glasses left unattended, and wine pours were stingy. The poor young man that delivered entrees was so nervous he could barely form words. My guests were left to claim their orders auction style rather than being served. The menu is limited and the presentation lacked imagination leaving plates looking empty. I realize this is a new offering at the lodge and, as a local, the gesture is appreciated. I hope ov
