Quarterdeck

Came here from RI to get blue crabs and really enjoyed this place. The outside patio was full, but we made a reservation and were seated quickly. Our server, Trez, was friendly and attentive. The crabs were hot when they came out, and they were seasoned well. The drinks were good & strong. Inside the restaurant, there was a room with an arcade look, and it was packed too. I'm glad I checked this place out!

A true locals’ classic. Quarterdeck is one of those rare places that does exactly what it promises—and does it really well. Rustic in the best way, like a perfectly broken-in pair of jeans. Nothing fancy, no pretense, just comfort and quality. I started with an order of buffalo wings, and I’ll be honest: they were every bit as good as what you’d expect to find in Western NY. That alone would bring me back. But the crabs… lordy, the crabs were next level. Big, meaty, and perfectly seasoned. The mud/rub they use is beautifully balanced—clearly in the Old Bay family, but distinct and memorable in its own right. Absolute perfection for crab lovers. Service was friendly and on point, adding to the easygoing neighborhood vibe. If I lived closer, I’d eat here five nights a week without hesitat

The Crab Cakes (MKT) completely stole the show. I’m very particular about crab cakes, and these were easily some of the best I’ve had. They were boiled instead of fried, which let the flavor of the crab really stand out. Chef’s kiss. The only downside was the seating….it felt a bit tight and cramped. Other than that, the crab cakes alone make it worth the visit.

I was visiting Arlington for the first time and wanted a place to eat that was truly local, I'm happy I stumbled actress Quarterdeck Restaurant. My needs were simple, oysters on the half shell and Lobster Bisque without going completely broke. This fit the bill perfectly.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a wonderful experience at Quarterdeck Restaurant! The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us by providing an extra outdoor table so our whole party could sit together. Everyone was so kind, professional, and attentive — they truly made us feel welcome. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the service was outstanding. If we could rate it a 10/10, we absolutely would! Highly recommend Quarterdeck for anyone looking for great food and genuine hospitality.
