Quesadillas Doña Meche

We were looking for a new place to try and I'm so glad we picked this restaurant! From the moment we entered the building, Leo the owner was incredibly kind and inviting! The food was absolutely delicious! They had a Saturday birria special so we ordered that and an order of tamales. The portions were big as well. As we were getting ready to leave my husband wanted dessert and I tried to talk him out if because we were so full. Of course he ended up getting a piece of the chocoflan to go. Now my only regret is not getting one for myself because it was so tasty! Definitely recommend eating here!

First time at this place and really enjoyed Leo taking his time to make my experience at this establishment great. The service was amazing and the food was phenomenal. Real Mexican! You can taste the Love in the food. I highly recommend. I had the beef empandas served the establishment way. Perfect!

I found this gem of a restaurant. The owner is so nice and the food was delicious. I had the steak and chicken tacos! Highly recommended! Give it a try. You won’t be disappointed!

I ordered tacos and a rice bowl. Rice bowl was ok, chips that came with it looked like the oil hadn't been changed in a very long time. Tacos were shoved into a small container, barely fit and looked greasy. We asked for 2 soft shells and 1 hard, got all soft and they were not edible. Overall, no real taste to any of the food which was disappointing considering we spent almost $40K for just those two items.

Stopped there yesterday afternoon for lunch with my parents, and it was well worth it. Leo is incredibly personable and great at making you feel right at home, and the food was amazing. We all got quesadillas (I had El Abañil, which is steak and mushrooms with chipotle sauce that has a good kick to it, and a jalapeño and cheese tamale), and I can't recommend them enough, as well as the tamales, rice, beans, and chips you get as your appetizer. You get a great amount of food for the price, and it arrived very quickly. The drinks were delicious, too (try the tamarind or hibiscus drinks, you can't go wrong with either one), and the atmosphere was cozy and colorful. Definitely stop in when you have the chance.
