My whole experience was amazing from start to finish. We had the coquito flights, pastellios, and alcapurias. Alongside side the chillo frito, mofongo carne fritas. The food tasted amazing with a hefty serving of each dish. The staff and servers gave the utmost respect and kindness. We had an amazing time and will definitely come back and recommend it to people who love Puerto Rico and Puerto Rican food.

When I walked in, the staff was very warm and kind. I’m on a scooter due to an ankle injury and the hostess came and opened the door for me and my partner. I saw the servers swiftly bringing food to the tables, and from what I saw I felt confident about the food. The aroma also hinted that we were in for a treat. I loved everything I tasted. Mofongo, jackfruit pernil, aguacate salad (my favoriteee), the rice, the beans, the sweet plantain. Excellent work in the kitchen. Felt very authentic. To top it off we had this excellent Tres Leches! The lime zest and pineapple really gave it a special touch. I’ll be back there soon.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Qui Qui is a true neighborhood gem on Georgia Ave. We stopped in for happy hour and loved it so much we stayed for dinner. The drinks were creative, balanced, and delicious. We tried the ceviche (so fresh and flavorful), BBQ chicken skewers, and a couple of pork dishes — everything was juicy, well-seasoned, and generously portioned. Don’t miss the maduros and pudding dessert if you like sweets. The vibe is laid-back, warm, and effortlessly cool — fun and vibrant but still intimate and not too loud. The staff and chefs were incredibly friendly and gave great recommendations. Huge shout-out to Cole for the excellent service and spot-on recommendations! They’re currently open Thursday–Sunday, and I can’t wait for them to expand their hours. Highly recommend checking this spot ou

Very good experience. The food was good, not the most authentic, but delicious nonetheless. The service by the entire staff was excellent. We ordered several small plates and left full with some to take home. Prices were decent for the DC restaurant scene.

Great service; good food. My wife has been craving oxtail stew so we went to check this place out. Be aware, you’ll be looking for street parking but it’s not impossible in this area. The setting is very pleasant, and even better with the staff engagement. The server and owner (?) checked on us several times, making us feel very much welcomed. My mofongo con carne frita was delicious. My wife’s oxtail stew was decent but slightly salty and a bit pricey (only one large oxtail); my son’s El OG was also very good. Large portion with the El OG. Bottom line, I’m down for going back, as the food was good and the service fantastic. I would recommend not getting the oxtail stew though. And one word of caution. There’s a 20% service charge regardless of party size, which I’m not a fan of. But that’
